The statue
The Statue of Karagga the Unyielding was a solid gold statue commemorating Karagga the Unyielding, the Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Cartel, that was located in Lucent Square on the Promenade of Nar Shaddaa. Crafted from solid gold by no less than eighty-three artisans, the statue was commissioned by the Hutt Cartel as a gift to Karagga on his 800th birthday, and revelers gathered around the statue each year to honor his birthday. The statue was criticized by some about its lack of accuracy in reflecting Karagga's appearance.
Behind the scenes
The statue first appeared in Star Wars: The Old Republic, the Codex of which states that it is crafted from gold. However, the Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia states that it was made from aurodium.
