A statue of Qui-Gon Jinn was erected at the back of the Jedi Temple Planetarium within the Jedi Temple on the planet of Coruscant. It was built to commemorate the Jedi Master after his death at the hands of the Sith apprentice Darth Maul in 32 BBY.
History
Edit
When Qui-Gon Jinn was killed by Darth Maul on Naboo in 32 BBY, a statue was erected in the Temple Planetarium to commemorate his devotion to the Jedi Order. The room was slightly expanded to accommodate the statue which was built in a small rotanda off the main chamber.
Discovered
Edit
Galen Marek travelled to the Jedi Temple when he had felt himself drawn there. He infiltrated the Temple and stumbled across the Temple Planetarium in order to clear a path for himself. There, he remained ignorant that he had passed the statue of Master Jinn.
