Stavan was an Imperial Remnant officer serving as commander of the Kejim Outpost around 12 ABY.

During a mission to explore an Imperial outpost on Kejim, Kyle Katarn stumbled upon several transmissions while examining a communications console. In one of these transmissions, Admiral Galak Fyyar expressed dissatisfaction with Stavan's performance and instructed that he be removed from command and reassigned.
