Stecker was a Sergeant in the Imperial Army. COMPNOR made him a hero due to his actions at the Battle of Sagma. However, Imperial Security Bureau suspected that Stecker was a supporter of the Rebel Alliance due to his meeting with Linds.

Stecker took part later on the Battle of Picutorion. During the battle, ISB agent Mar Barezz talked about Stecker with Commodore Bevven and High Colonel Drost. Barezz suggested that Stecker and another presumed sympathizer, Captain Ganig, were going to defect to the Alliance. Thus, they should not be allowed to survive after the battle.

Both Stecker and Ganig were "sacrificed" during the battle.
