Stempel was a Human male Major and commanding officer in the Pelek Baw militia during the Clone Wars. During the Battle of Haruun Kal, Stempel was ordered by Lorz Geptun to send a specific code to the droid starfighters in order to attack the city. As the clone troopers - led by CRC-09/571 - were able to take the commanding bunker of the Pelek Baw, Stempel was captured.
