Stormtrooper rations were canned, self-warming rations issued to Imperial stormtroopers during their service to the Empire. The grayish, gooey substance was horribly bland, but it met the nutritional requirements of a typical stormtrooper. Each canister of stormtrooper rations bore the Imperial stamp of approval, an assurance that the rations were safe to eat and quite nutritious.
