A stratablock was one of the 17 affluent areas of the planet Metellos where the buildings towered more than a kilometer above the surface.

HistoryEdit

The stratablocks were surrounded on all sides by a sea of single-story structures, packed tightly together. Through Metellos was a huge ecumenopolis, most of the land area, and indeed most of its population, lived in shabby, polluted slums hugging ground level. The stratablocks stood out, "as if a chunk of Coruscant had simply been dropped there."
