The Strategy Center, formerly known as the War Room, was a communications and planning center of the Rebel Alliance on the fourth moon of Yavin. Located in the center of the second level of the Great Temple, the War Room resided directly below the main command center.
During the Battle of Yavin, General Jan Dodonna, Princess Leia Organa, and C-3PO gathered in the War Room. From within, they listened to the communications between pilots as the battle unfolded around the Death Star.
After Luke Skywalker created the Jedi Praxeum, the War Room was renamed the Strategy Center.
