Immediately prior to the Battle of Yavin, the Rebel Alliance struck at an Incom Corporation facility and stole several T-65 X-wing starfighters for use by the Rebels. The attack plan was devised by General Jan Dodonna. Biggs Darklighter led a squadron of TIE/In starfighters to draw off Incom's own fighter complement while Wedge Antilles and several other Rebel pilots landed at the facility on a transport and seized the fighters. They then flew them back to a Rebel base on Yavin IV.
