Submission torques were lethal weapons disguised as inoffensive metallic neck rings. When remotely activated, one of those torques could behead its wearer by releasing the energy of a small detonite charge hidden in the metal.
Submission torques were used as slaving collars in order to keep control over rebellious slaves. These rings were programmed in accordance with the master's biological waves, and they would explode over a determined period of time (ranging from two hours to thirty days) if not touched by the master in the meantime.
Behind the scenes[]
The submission torques have only appeared in the French RPG magazine Casus Belli HS6.
