The Sudden Demise, also known as the Demise, was a starship owned by the smuggler chief and information broker, Talon Karrde. The vessel was fast, but it was not heavily armed or defended. It flamed out in the first exchange of the Battle of the Jedi Praxeum during the Yuuzhan Vong War. The crew was presumably lost.

It, along with Idiot's Array and the Etherway, escorted the Wild Karrde during the battle because, although they weren't heavily armed they were the only vessels that could keep up with their flagship.
