Suite 44-1 was New Republic Ambassador Dictio L'varren private suite in a hotel on the planet Indu San.

Galactic News Network reporter Kella Rand came to visit L'varren in Suite 44-1 in order to deliver evidence incriminating Kaleb Darme in the assassination of chief councilor of the Indu Council, Shek Barayel. While she never made it to the room herself, as she was captured and stunned by Darme, her hovercam that she told to go to the room did make it, along with the evidence it was carrying. Once the hovercam reached the room and L'varren's men viewed the recording, they left the room to capture the murderer and rescue Rand.
