Sullustan regiments were primarily used by the Rebel Alliance as garrison units.

Sullustan regiments were fairly cheap to establish and maintain, but consequently also poorly equipped for offensive purposes. However, Sullustan regiments were fairly skilled when it came to defensive duties and especially trained in foiling covert enemy operations.
