The Sullustan resistance was a resistance cell on the volcanic world of Sullust during the Galactic Civil War. Unaffiliated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, despite being led by Alliance soldier Nien Nunb, the cell had initially come to Sullust to support the Cobalt Laborers' Reformation Front, who were becoming increasingly anti-imperial, but soon found out that it's militant members had been imprisoned and the rest were too afraid to fight. So the cell decided to go on helping the citizens to try and win them over one by one. Shortly after an bombing on a facility, Stormtroopers stormed the VCX-150 freighter Keepsake owned by a Chadra-Fan who was part of the Sullustan resistance and apprehended the alien. A detonator then set off and a few stormtroopers were killed in the blast but the squad leader SP-113 and trooper SP-475 survived and took the Chadra-Fan away.[1]

When the Alliance's Sixty-First Mobile Infantry were stranded on Sullust, their Captain Hazram Namir went to Pinyumb to find them for help. He and his men were ambushed and Nien Nunb rescued Namir and took him to the others. They were not able to help Namir being only four fighters strong and the Sixty-First had to face the ground forces and the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Herald. They won due to the use of Lava flow on the ground and the internal sabotage of the Herald by the faked surrender of Everi Chalis. Nunb had the Sullustan resistance and Cobalt Labourers take Pinyumb and kick start a planet wide uprising taking Sullust for the Alliance.[1]
