- "Sifu mungu."
- ―A Sunesi phrase loosely translated as "He has touched you" and refers to the Maker's ability to perform wonders through the Sunesi
The Sunesi were sapient bipeds indigenous to Monor II. The Imperials called them Lumpheads. A serene species, they underwent a dangerous metamorphosis between their juvenile and adult stages. They also had the ability to overlay their speech and the speech of others around them with ultra high frequency noise, rendering listening devices useless. They were monotheistic, believing in the Maker.
Gnosos and Agapos the Tenth were Sunesi, as well as Nee. Possibly, also Rur (last High Shaman of the Terrible Glare).

Behind the scenes
Edit
The Sunesi phrase "Sifu mungu" is in reality taken from the African language Swahili, in which it means "Praise God."
