The Sungrass was a Xiytiar-class transport used by Wraith Squadron during their time posing as the Hawk-bat Independent Space Force in the Halmad system.

Previously belonging to an Imperial shipping corporation, it was stationed at a facility which was attacked by New Republic Intelligence and listed by the Empire as destroyed. In reality it was repaired and given a new name and history.

As part of the Hawk-bat ruse, the Sungrass's primary role was to act as a transport for the unit's TIEs, which were otherwise incapable of hyperspace travel. It was commanded by Captain Valton.
