The Supreme Strategist was a high-ranking official of Mandalore. He was of an unknown species, and commanded a Venator-class Star Destroyer. Some time before the Battle of Yavin, Tyber Zann's fledgling organization managed to commit piracy above Mandalore by kidnapping the Supreme Strategist. He was taken into Consortium custody, destroying the four squadrons of V-wing starfighters that had been sent ahead and destroying or disabling all of the escort vessels.
