The SureSnoop was a tracking system that consisted of a handheld sensor pack and one or more specialized tracking tags. The tags were tiny transmitters, 1cm across, and had a 3 day battery. They were usually worked into small objects such as jewelry or slipped into a vehicle.
The SureSnoop sensor pack could be used to locate life forms, data communications, and energy emissions. However, it was designed to track the tags. It could provide the direction, distance and speed of the tag.
