The Swamp of Fallen Stars was a swamp region on the moon Yavin 4. It was located between the Val'Arnos Jungle and the Nicolo Peak.[1] Many pieces of the first Death Star fell into this swamp after its destruction during the Battle of Yavin, forming craters and burning large areas of vegetation.[4] After the Rebel Alliance evacuated Yavin 4, the Empire charged Nagem Dr'Lar to recover sensitive technology in the swamps.[6] However, her operations were crippled by Osae Meilea and the Hutts.[7]
