Sweat-stop was an anti-sweat film that could be sprayed onto a Human's skin to prevent perspiration. Human surgeons on civilized worlds used the substance to keep sweat from getting into their eyes during surgeries. In 20 BBY, sweat-stop was in short supply for the surgeons of Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 on Drongar, a hot and humid world where a lengthy battle raged during the Clone Wars.
Sweat-stop was an anti-sweat film, a type of substance capable of preventing perspiration. Usable by members of the Human species, the substance was applied by spraying it on an individual's skin.
In medical facilities located on many civilized worlds, Human surgeons sprayed sweat-stop on their faces before washing to prevent sweat from dripping into their eyes during surgical operations. In the year 20 BBY, the substance was one of many items in short supply for the medical staff at Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 on the hot, humid planet Drongar, where a long-lasting battle was fought between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. During the sweat-stop shortage, the Human Republic surgeon Jos Vondar thought about the substance during a surgery to remove shrapnel from a clone trooper while the air cooler installed in his area was malfunctioning.
