Sweat-stop
Talk1this wiki
Sweat-stop was a substance that could be sprayed onto the skin of an individual to prevent perspiration. On advanced worlds, sweat-stop was applied to surgeons' faces before washing to prevent sweat from dripping into their eyes. The substance could be used by Humans.[1] In 20 BBY,[2] during a battle on the planet Drongar during the Clone Wars fought between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Republic surgeon Jos Vondar thought about sweat-stop when none was available for him while he removed shrapnel from a clone trooper at Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7.[1]
Behind the scenes
Sweat-stop was briefly mentioned in MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, a 2004 novel written by Steve Perry and Michael Reaves as the second part of the MedStar Duology. The book was published by Del Rey as part of the Clone Wars book series.[1]
