- «Sy Bisti will do.»
- ―Force Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo, to Dubrak Qennto
Sy Bisti was a trade language used in the Outer Rim and in parts of the Unknown Regions. Though not as common as Bocce, it frequently served as a common language between the denizens of worlds bordering Wild Space and the Unknown Regions, and species from those regions whom had not learned Basic.[2] The Chiss knew this language prior to their first contact with citizens of the Galactic Republic.[1] Individuals living on Taris often knew Sy Bisti,[2] and it was frequently a second language among the Killiks and Vaagari.[3]
