Sylvn was the daughter of Ki-Adi-Mundi and his fourth wife, Mawin.

Around 33 BBY, Sylvn unknowingly became involved in a smuggling ring involving Ephant Mon, one of Jabba Desilijic Tiure's agents, and one of the Cerean Elders. When this deal went sour, the Hutt crimelord enslaved her and her friend Twin. Ki-Adi-Mundi eventually rescued the two from the Hutt's attempt to execute them both during an electrical storm.

She was killed in the Battle of Cerea during the Clone Wars.
