Synred Vols was a male Sullustan Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the waning years of the Republic Classic era.
Biography
A Force-sensitive Sullustan, Synred Vols was educated in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, achieving the rank of Jedi Master. Stationed on Almas at the experimental academy in 31 BBY, Master Vols selected the young Initiate Hary'nkel as his Padawan and they patrolled the Cularin system together during their time together.[1]
During the first year of Clone Wars, Master Kirlocca organized an expedition into the wastelands of Almas, in which Master Vols and Padawan Hary'nkel participated. While making camp, the influence of the dark side of the Force that permeated the wastes affected Jedi Syr Tal-Soten, Trevon Rey and Seeth'tal, all of whom attacked their fellow Jedi. During the confusion of the assault, Masters Vols, Misha Quor-Din and another Jedi moved to protect Kirlocca and the other Padawans but they too were attacked by the deranged Jedi. During the fighting, Master Vols was killed, sacrificing himself so that Masters Kirlocca, Quor-Din, his Padawan and the others could escape.[1]
