A synthesizer was a musical instrument. It had a keyboard along one middle of one edge, with a shorter keyboard on the end of the other edge. Numerous buttons and controls ran along the synthesizer surface. Tyric, a musician of the Shaliz'Na species, was known to use a synthesizer.
