Syp was a woody plant native to the swampy, high-gravity planet of Ossel II. Prized for its resiliency, syp wood was the only trade good of note on Ossel II, other than the native Ossan people. Traders who came to Ossel II to trade for syp found that they could only acquire it by agreeing to let an Ossan sign on as a crew member. This was the only trade the Ossan found acceptable.
