The T100 Dual Power Absorber was a Podracer component meant to raise a Podracer's defense, making the vessel more durable.[3] During the year 24 BBY,[1] Watto, a Toydarian merchant, sold Power Absorbers, among other parts, to Podracer pilots.[2] The T100 was outclassed by Phase 3 Carbon Plating, and sold for roughly 900 or more truguts.[3]

The T100 Dual Power Absorber was first mentioned in the 2002 video game Star Wars: Racer Revenge, and was available as a Podracer upgrade that players could purchase. The plating was never visible to the player.[2] The upgrade was mentioned again in the game's strategy guide. An exact price is difficult to figure out, due to the fact that the price of different parts will fluctuate depending on how many upgrades have been previously purchased. For each Podracer statistic category, there are nineteen upgrade levels, and the T100 is the eleventh defense upgrade, where a base price of 900 truguts can be roughly established.[3]
