TDL-501 or Teedle was a service droid developed by Accutronics shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. The TDL-501 was manufactured to compete with the WA-7 service unit. It did enjoy moderate success but was later outdated.

One droid of this series worked in the cantina of the RMSU-7 on Drongar. When the shield generator broke down, the XY-90 component was required immediately. Teedle had this component and she let the technical experts extract it to repair the breakdown.

Den Dhur was upset by this at first, but soon realized that she had been put to good use.
