The TIE Interdictor, also known as the advanced TIE Bomber, was a heavy bomber in service to the Galactic Empire.

[edit] Characteristics
Its wings and command module were nearly identical to those found on a TIE/sa bomber. However, the command module was flanked by two twin ordnance pods providing the Interdictor four times more destructive capability than the standard TIE Bomber. The lower two ordnance pods had bombing chutes allowing the Interdictor to drop multiple bombs at once.

This design, for whatever reason, was hardly seen among the numerous other TIE craft of the Imperial Navy.

Few technical details are provided for this craft in the only known source. Most of what is known is based on extrapolation from its physical structure and similarity to the TIE Bomber.
