The TR-14a Land Carrier was one of the most expensive and elegant speeders ever made. They were modeled after ancient wheeled carriages, and were incredibly expensive. They could come with gilded scrollwork, family crests and heraldry, or custom interior upholstery. They were also very heavy armored to protect the dignitary riding inside.

The basic layout was a large central passenger compartment with large turbothrust engines in front. A pilot would ride in an open-air cockpit in the back. Lift producing repulsors were contained in small outriggers.
