[edit] Characteristics

Size comparison of an A5 Juggernaut, Chariot LAV and a TX-130T.

The TX-130T was an upgraded version of the TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank employed during the Clone Wars, equipped with added shielding and protection.

It was armed with a single top-mounted turreted laser cannon, two more swiveling cannons on either side of the cockpit, and a pair of rocket launchers along the hull. Unfortunately, the top cannon's gunner lacked shielding around most of his body, allowing enemy snipers to easily target a stationary vehicle and kill the gunner.

[edit] History

Two TX-130Ts during the Battle of New Plympto.

The first units were deployed towards the end of the Clone Wars, but this tank model would be best known for its use by the Galactic Empire before and during the Galactic Civil War, where it fought alongside the similarly designed 2-M repulsor tank. The tank saw action on various planets and battlefields such as Mygeeto, Kashyyyk, Naboo, and Yavin 4.
