Taan was a Shamed One of the Yuuzhan Vong. Stationed aboard the Stalking Moon, Taan offered to help Corran Horn in communicating with the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet preparing to attack Yag'Dhul. However, she only agreed after she had seen Tahiri Veila, whom she knew as the One-who-was-shaped.
