The Tachyon Flier was a YV-888 light freighter found by the Myrkr strike team, who planned to use it to escape the Baanu Rass. However, the strike team was betrayed by the Dark Jedi Lomi Plo and Welk. Raynar Thul was aboard when they took off. The ship crashed in the Yoggoy nest, in Killik portion of the Unknown Regions. All three survived, although horribly mutilated, and were absorbed by the Killiks.

Seven years later, the site, known as the Crash, had become something of a holy place to the Killiks, partially due to its role in the creation of the Colony. Jacen Solo and Leia Organa Solo visited the ship's remains while searching for the Killiks.
