Tag was a clone trooper pilot in the Republic Navy's Shadow Squadron.

Tag flew in Shadow Squadron and was killed in action during the Battle of the Kaliida Nebula when the engines of fellow pilot Matchstick's damaged BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bomber failed and caused the ship to crash into Tag's. Tag's gunner died with him.[3]
