Taivas floating cephalopods were floating bioluminescent octopus-like animals on Taivas. Little is known about the species, but they often floated in pairs or small groups. Most had three eyes, though some of the species were known to possess more.

Its is not clear if is a native creature or was introduced during the secret Yuuzhan Vong terraforming of the planet to hold the Hidden Temple, given the pre-terraforming atmosphere.
