Takeel was a Snivvian mercenary and burned-out spice addict who frequented Chalmun's Cantina, looking for employment. He was also known by the nickname "Hunchback".

[edit] Biography
Takeel at times worked for Durga Besadii Tai, Jabba Desilijic Tiure, and the Galactic Empire, and earned his reputation as a double-crosser from his habit of turning over lawbreakers (including former partners) to Imperial law enforcement.
Takeel was the brother of Zutton.
[edit] Behind the scenes
A card from the Customizable Card Game titled "Hunchback" only shows Takeel from behind. The card reads "What hump?", probably a reference to a line from the film Young Frankenstein.
Takeel can be seen in A New Hope with "human hands", as his actor wasn't given gloves or later produced prosthetic Snivvian hands.
