Tala Squadron was a squadron of modified Z-95 Headhunters operationally assigned to provide close air support to General Crix Madine's commandos. The squadron's Headhunters were modified with hyperdrives so as not to require the support of a capital ship; at least one of the ships was also equipped with an advanced sensor suite to monitor Imperial activity during commando actions.
