Biography
Edit
Talia was born into Mother Talzin's coven of Nightsisters witches on Dathomir. During the Clone Wars, she was among the Nightsisters to discover and apprehend the wounded Asajj Ventress, a former Nighsister who had been betrayed by Count Dooku. She, along with the other members of her clan, prepared to execute Ventress, only to be stopped by Talzin, who informed her clan that Ventress was one of them. Soon afterward, Talia helped prepare the Water of Life to revive Ventress. She also helped prepare an invisibility magic potion for Ventress and her fellow Nightsisters Karis and Naa'leth to use in an infiltration for Count Dooku's castle. After this attempt failed, she was present when Ventress and her sisters returned in their ship.[1]
She witnessed Count Dooku's arrival at her village. Some time later, Talia, Karis, Talzin, and a manipulated Savage Opress used a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle to travel to Dooku's castle on Serenno to deliver Savage to Dooku as a replacement apprentice. The three Nightsisters then returned to Dathomir.[2]
When Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived at Talzin's village looking for a lead on the location of Savage Opress, Talia and other members of her clan descended from above the Jedi, disarmed them, and brought them to Mother Talzin. She remained on the alert, ready to attack the Jedi if they made any hostile movements, until they received the information on Opress they desired and left the planet. She later saw the wounded Savage Opress after he returned from his battle with Dooku, Ventress, and the two Jedi above Toydaria.[3]
Behind the Scenes
Edit
Talia was voiced by Angelique Perrin, who also voiced Adi Gallia[4]. She spoke a total of four words throughout all her appearances, and is arguably the least significant named Nightsister from the Clone Wars show, her name only being mentioned in the show's script.
