All the good ones end in -é
Edit
Interestignly, all known names end in -é, although this is not the case with all the Naboo female names (eg. Jamillia). Perhaps this indicates an undocumented custom of Naboo, that handmaidens were picked in order to rhyme with their mistress' name (Padmé). -- this was added on the main article by MoffRebus.
- Is this just fan speculation? I was thinking it's more likely that the handmaidens were given names or aliases that sounded like their Queen / Senator? (just like the Amidala "name of state" thing) Who knows. --Azizlight 07:44, 8 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, it's my speculation... so you object to the word 'were picked' while you'd prefer to be replaced with someting like 'their names were given'. Moff Rebus 09:00, 8 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Not exactly, I was just adding my speculation to your speculation, here on this talk page - none of it belongs in the main article.--Azizlight 09:06, 8 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Handmaiden ID
Edit
Does anyone know who the Handmaiden was who visited Anakin at the end of the Dreadnaughts of Rendili comic? Kuralyov 20:11, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Atris' more popular than Amidala's ?
Edit
Shouldn't Amidala's handmaidens be listed first since they appear in more sources and so should be more well-known than Atris' handmaidens? Arnavion 09:58, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
