Death
Edit
Wasn't it the Battle of Coruscant (Great Hyperspace War) where Ooroo died? QuentinGeorge 07:36, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Right now it says he died twice (sacrificed himself and got shot) that can't be right. Retodon8 / 81.171.8.22 02:16, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it says he died at the Battle of Kirrek, when he dumped his tank over and killed several Massassi. Oxygen, which is deadly to Celegians, killed him instantly. Though, that's weird with him being shot... When did that happen? Mak Manto
Lightsbaer
Edit
I presume he didn't use a lightsaber, since he was in a tank. Just checking though
- Does the wods Telekinetic Lightsaber Combat mean anything? Couggan Treehopper 07:22, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- I guess it might. But I'm not sure because I don't have any sources on Ooroo. So can someone who do have the sources say something about his lightsaber? And how can he move inside that tank? Cyfiero 07:36, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- The Power of the Jedi Sourcebook says that Sir Ooroo could use a lightsaber, but it's never stipulated as to how. In the comics, he's not depicted wielding a lightsaber at all. What do you mean about moving? Are you asking how he moves around inside the tank or how the tank itself moves around? If it's the former, then the answer is: swim. For the latter, the tank was equipped with repulsorlifts. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 08:26, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- It was the latter. I was guessing that the tank was equipped with repulsorlifts but by looking at the picture, I thought that the base of the tank was some solid rock of some sort. Thanks for the information by the way! :) Cyfiero 00:03, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Picture
Edit
Does anyone second my opinion that the picture of his death wt the Battle of Kirrek be removed? It disports the entry a bit because of its size. Is this only a problem with my monitor? or does someone want to downsize it? Couggan Treehopper 07:22, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Unknown Planet?
Edit
"who acted as an instructor to Jedi students on an unknown planet" I remember the introduction of Golden Age of the Sith referring to the name of the world on which Ooroo trained Odan-Urr being referred lost to time, or something like that, but by the end of Fall of the Sith Empire, I remember Odan-Urr identifying it as Ossus. So, isn't referring to it as an "unknown planet" a bit misleading, as we do know what planet it was? Joser Kyind 02:23, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've clarified that in the intro. As for it being Ossus, it can't have been, because Odan-Urr helped build the Great Jedi Library after the Great Hyperspace War. Power of the Jedi sourcebook also says the name of the planet was lost to history --

- Actually, unless I misunderstood the passage, after the war is over in Fall of the Sith Empire, when Odan-Urr announces his plan to build the Jedi Library, he says something to the effect of "I will build it on the world where Ooroo instructed me, on Ossus." That quote's probably not exact, as I don't have a copy right in front of me to look at. Someone else is going to have to look that part up to check whether I'm understanding correctly or not. I may have misunderstood, but I know I'm not just imagining things, as the apparent inconsistancy stood out to me from the first time I read it. Joser Kyind 05:44, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm, you're right. The quote is: "...on the quiet world where master Ooroo trained me -- on Ossus!" Strange. I'll fix that in the article when I have more time. Good spot -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 07:38, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
