[edit] Deaths and Births

Has it been stated anywhere that Mace Windu actually died? He could just have easily fallen out of the window and then landed into a speeder. I know that Yoda senses something at the moment on Kashyyk but it could have been Yoda sensing Sidious' rise to power. Also should we include Anakin Skywalker as dying on this year? It has been said by numerous people that Anakin Skywalker ceases to exist after this point. Also if that is the case then we should add a birth of Darth Vader.T3hcho53non3 23:54, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Evidently, Anakin Skywalker does not cease to exist, as he returns to destroy the Emperor, and we see him with Ben and Yoda at the end of RotJ. ;) --beeurd 17:26, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Revert

Dunno why you did the revert, because I believe its even stated in Dark Lord that he initiates the New Order, if nothing but to himself, in 19 BBY. --Unsigned comment by CBenoit (talk • contribs).

  • The New Order is the same as the Galactic Empire, just with a different name. Admiral J. Nebulax 17:16, 28 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • The New Order is the Emperor's anit-alien sentiments. Its basically the same as Hitler's Final Resolution for the Jews. --Unsigned comment by CBenoit (talk • contribs).
      • Did you even read the Galactic Empire page? Admiral J. Nebulax 17:33, 28 Dec 2005 (UTC)
        • That's a different New Order then stated in some novels and SWCCG. The SWCCG and novels point out the New Order is his anti-alien destruction/enslavement. Here, I will post the lore from the Empires' New Order card:

Empire's New Order Palpatine's cruel vision of his Empire included the enslavement and subjugation of entire species.

Also, the X-Wing series, mentions it as the anti-alien bit quite a few times, especially the parts with the Bothan and Darklighter.

  • Nontheless, it was either the Empire or a part of it. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:42, 28 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • I'm just saying its different then the Empire. So, the Emperor announcing to his underlings (the moffs and such) that he was initiating his New Order, thats pretty important. I would think that the Wookies, Talz, etc, would think so. Its not even a publically announced thing, although the books mention tht many people noticed the Alien/specisim going on.

Its kind of a turning point where the Republic truly goes from the Republic to the Empire. I don't know what the harm is of just listing a:

  • There's no point to have that. When Palpatine initiated the Galactic Empire, he initiated the New Order. There's no need for that sentence. Admiral J. Nebulax 12:46, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • There's as much point in having it as there is in saying that the Galactic Senate became the Imperial Senate. I see no need not to have it. -Jaymach Ral'Tir 12:52, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • I added a little bit in. And there's not much of a point for having the "Galactic Senate became the Imperial Senate" in there either. Admiral J. Nebulax 12:55, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Clone Wars Battles

The progression of "previous battle, next battle" needs to be cleaned up. I really don't have the expertise to fix conflicting claims--The Erl of Wookiepedia

  • Well, the way it is now is the correct order, I believe. Admiral J. Nebulax 18:00, 2 Jan 2006 (UTC)
    • Largely yeah, but if you go to the Battle of Geonosis and click through, there are a couple dead ends (redlinks), repetitions (2nd Xagobah) or skips: the "next battle" for Battle A is Battle C, but the "Previous Battle" for Battle C is Battle B--The Erl
      • So what does this have to do with 19 BBY? Admiral J. Nebulax 22:50, 2 Jan 2006 (UTC)
        • Not much. I was just forced to return to the 19 BBY page to find my way several times, so it seemed to be the common thread where I could post this--The Erl
          • Well, this really isn't the right spot. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:47, 3 Jan 2006 (UTC)
            • What would be?
