Astromech?Edit

So is this really an astromech droid, despite being in the IG series? -LtNOWIS 03:20, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

  • And he's also a Grand Moff...what the helling hell? --MarcK [talk] 03:25, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
    • Strange but apparently true... IG-88(s) is/are a/some fascinating (semi-)individual(s). —Darth Culator (talk) 04:59, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
      • Wow. An IG-series assassin droid turned Imperial Grand Moff. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:07, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
        • I don't think we have a source for "4-ATC" or "4-8C". I can't find anything on the CUSWE, and Lord of War only calls him "For-Atesee". So for now, until we get confirmation of his actual designation, I've moved the page to the latter - Kwenn 20:17, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
          • Good idea, Kwenn. But I believe on the "Requested Articles" page, someone said they had a source for "4-8C". Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 21:52, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
            • Not neccessarily. That might just be speculation on their part, though I think it's most likely 4-8C if anything - Kwenn 21:55, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
  • FYI....Abel calls him 4-8C here: "4-8C is depicted as a plain looking IG-88 type assassin droid in the playing cards that come with the Star Wars Missions. Who knows though, maybe he's ballin so out of control he got gold-plated." OOM-30 08:26, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

I heard about this "guy". That's got to be quite a talking point during Grand Moff banquets. "What was the Emperor smoking when he appointed that to a Moff?" >P VT-16 13:40, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Considering Palpy's perverse sense of humour, he probably appointed 4-8C just to irk his General Staff, as a dig at the overall anti-droid sentiment prevalent in the GFFA.Tocneppil 21:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

IG-88Edit

We now know that there were only 4 IG-88s (A, B, C, D), and they are all accounted for in the period of 4-8C's Moffdom. So how can 4-8C be an IG-88? Was he an IG drone or something?

There is no mention of him on the IG-88 page, and other pages (IG-series) lists him seperate from the IG-88s. I'm assuming contradictory statements are at play here, and there should at least be a mention on the IG-88 page somewhere, if only in the behind-the-scenes section. If discounted, then the IG-88 designation should be removed as contradictory with other sources and only referenced in the BTS section on this page as well.--108.196.25.194 02:22, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
