Hmm. Something is wrong with this article, not sure what though. It says that "Senator Amidala took up residence in the Senate Apartment Complex that capped one of the building's towers." But the building in the picture is not the building containing Padme's apartment. Not sure which is correct though, I had a feeling that building was 500 Republica but I don't think I ever saw a source that definitely confirmed it. --beeurd 13:43, 9 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- The building pictured is definately 500 Republica, as seen in TPM. However, it appears this is only one section of the building, since later sources (such as the RotS novel and the Republic comics) have stated that Senators such as Padmé and Bail have apartments in this complex (both of which share the same architectural style). So, yeah, it seems a bit odd, but I think 500 Republica is more like a block of buildings rather than just a single tower - Kwenn 20:45, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- How do you know it is definetly the building? Is there another source in which it tell us this?- Sauron18 18:53, 1 May 2006
- The Official Star Wars Fact Files, on Palpatine's apartments. It states 500 Republica is "four linked towers" each with "a transport terminal on the roof" for taxis. That's a description of the image on this page. Also, note in the extended scene on the DVD, the Queen's air taxi is heading directly towards this building; there are no other buildings around it that it could be driving towards - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 21:12, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Name[]
500 Republica is a ripoff of the 700 Louisiana building in Atlanta or Houston or something.
- And I'm sure that's the only building that has a name like that. *rolls eyes* ;) --beeurd 20:46, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Image[]
How can we be so sure that is 500 Republica, unless it is stated elsewhere it seems like just speculation. --Sauron18 08:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- I also do not think that the image of 500 Republica shown in the article is the actual one, considering that Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I clearly shows and describes the building as something else on page 32.--JediSquid 01:35, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Italics[]
Which source italicizes "500 Republica?" I read Labyrinth of Evil (in original English) and it doesn't make the building's name in italics. - TopAce 23:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, "500 Republica" is shown in italics at least once in the book, though I don't have the page number at the moment. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 01:08, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- I bought Revenge of the Sith today and it doesn't write 500 Republica in italics either. - TopAce 14:49, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, it's in italics somewhere. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 21:31, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Star Wars: Complete Locations italicizes the name - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 22:14, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Merge with Republic Executive Building?[]
According to Leland Chee here, The Republic Executive Building is part of the 500 Republica complex. Would a merge be needed? Katana Geldar 06:09, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
