Thanks to their recent inclusion in the novel Survivor's Quest and the movie Revenge of the Sith, members of the 501st Legion are the only known living Star Wars characters.

It could be better worded, but I think it is trying to point out that the real-world organization came first, and then they were added as character's to the film by Lucas as a tribute to their good works. —MJBurrage • TALK • 14:55, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How are Country Detachments Formed?

I am Cipher from Ireland and just noticed that Ireland doesn't have a Detachment. I'm too young to know how to set them up and don't have any uniforms or any means to make them. Do you have to like register somewhere and is there an age limit?Ciphe 21:16, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
