- Oops. Sorry about that. Which do you think is the correct name for the articles to be merged on? I know that 74-Z Military Speeder Bike predates 74-Z speeder bike, but I believe that the name I used is correct since it is the name used in the Databank (not as the title of the article, but under "Type" as the specific name). -- Aidje 12:59, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I always find the most extensive name the definite. :) Anyway, I´m not sure how to 'merge' exactly, better ask one of the admins. (I also noticed someone writing an extensive article on Coruscant, when there already is one. I think it would be best to post a message in big letters on the front page, telling people to search for previous articles if there´s a possibility they already exist. =\) VT-16 18:50, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- But what if the longer name contains unnecessary, or even sometimes incorrect, adjectives? Are all 74-Z's used for military purposes? I know that Aratech makes civilian speeders, but I'll admit that it is possible that this is a purely military speeder. Another example would be "Emperor Palpatine"; what about "Senator Palpatine and "Chancellor Palpatine"—thus the article is simply entitled "Palpatine". Besides all of that, I've never heard anyone use the phrase "military speeder bike"—only "speeder bike". -- Aidje 19:49, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

'74-Z speeder bike' is the common phrase. 'Military speeder bike' is more the vehicle's function than its title. It's also been called 'Imperial speeder bike', but I suggest sticking with 74-Z speeder bike.
- I agree, it´s possible it can be used by civilians and military alike. But the model number should stay, yes. :) VT-16 20:45, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, the model number should certainly stay. Detail is good, even if it does lead to redirects. I'll see what I can do about merging the information into one article. By the way, where is this other Coruscant article you mentioned? -- Aidje 20:56, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- When the Rebels used these on Endor, wasn't they just ones stolen from the scout troopers? -Aiddat 17:53, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
19:29, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, I mean "weren't they". I'll add (stolen) next to the list of units in the BoE infobox.
- Shouldn't you have asked that on Talk:Battle of Endor instead? Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)
