  • No. The compromise was specifically for Palpatine's page. If a character has a birth that is suspected, but not known for sure, s/he has an "approximate date" for their entry on their year of birth. That is how it is with everyone else here. No matter what you think, there is no reason to suspect that Palpatine was born other than 82 BBY, since the only known source lists it at such. However, since you got upset about that, the caveat was included on his personal page. I replicated it here. Adding anything else is not only not accepted practice, it is overkill. If someone wants to know about Palpatine, a single click cna take them there and they can read it there. Kuralyov 20:01, 14 Sep 2005 (UTC)

• Has it been confirmed that Yoda became Grand Master in 82 BBY? I had been under the impression that he had the title much earleir than this. --Markrox91 09:38, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
