Craft NameEdit

I believe that KDY named the ship "A-9 Vigilance Interceptor" as a full proper name. While an accurate descriptor, Interceptor is also a part of the name. --SparqMan 18:38, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

Yes, that's the way the EGTVV refers to it. Vigilance is part of the ship's official name, just like T-65 X-wing or in real life, F-14 Tomcat.JimRaynor55 23:10, 9 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • Indeed it is, from the section on other craft in the back of the book; the background has been changed from the original, however, which a white grid on pale grey. jSarek 02:09, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • Yep. I did that with a few other NEGVV pics I uploaded, and a few I have yet to upload. The grey background was useless, especially since rotating the pics to more reasonable angles made the grid all wacky. A questionEdit

Does anyone know what the little barrel-like thing is on the ventral side of the A-9, attached to the hull? Is it some sort of laser cannon, because it looks like a laser to me. —Unsigned comment by 154.20.188.74 (talk • contribs).

Uncredited AppearanceEdit

I was reading through the X-Wing comics and noticed in the background of the hangar in "In The Empire's Service", second issue (I think it's X-Wing #22) there appear to be two red A-9s. Should they get a credit here as well? --24.118.231.85 18:20, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
