how do you kill the guards.I can only talk to them

Fighting in KOTOR isn't always triggered by the 'attack' icon above the person's head. Perhaps you must provoke the guards through dialogue MoffRebus 07:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

• It's not that; there's a glitch related to this quest. When I played, I could provoke the guards and kill them, but they would respawn. Once respawned, I couldn't provoke them again, and Aaida refused to leave the Refugee Sector due to the guards (!). It doesn't happen to everyone, though. I know some who can kill the guards and she says she'll go meet Lootra, but simply disappears. I know a few people who had no problem at all. -Bredd13
  • If anyone's still interested, you provoke them by breaking into and robbing some canisters nearby.
