Death
Edit
So, how and when did Makati die? Saying that "Makati would not long survive Kadann though, as he soon too met his fate." isn't very informative. Red XIV 17:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think that specific information has been given yet. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- So, is it actually confirmed that he died, or are we just assuming he did because all the Grand Admirals except Thrawn had been dealt with before 9 ABY? Red XIV 22:59, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- No, I believe in the Grand Admirals Insider article it says that he died shortly after Kadann's death. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Yes, it's confirmed that he died shortly after his run-in with Kadann, but the exact circumstances of his death were (intentionally) left out of the Who's Who article. jSarek 23:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Intentionally? Why? Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- I would guess so that if a novel or comic book set in that time period uses him as a character, the author can decide for himself how Makati dies. No other reason I can think of deliberately not say how he dies. Red XIV 01:04, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Pretty much, though they had a specific author in mind. Wallace and Pena thought that, since it was the only Grand Admiral that Zahn had ever mentioned besides Thrawn, they would leave the circumstances of his death unsaid. You can see Pena's response to the question here. jSarek 01:20, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh. Thank you for the link. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- How do we know Wedge's Boudolayz raid was after Makati's death?JustinGann 20:20, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- We don't. The sentence in question has been reworded to be more nebulous about that. jSarek 03:34, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
