How?
Edit
- How could it take place in the future, if Star Wars takes place "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."?--35 pxI...am Z.Talk to me. 20:44, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- To their great surprise, the wormhole is not only a bridge to another galaxy, but to another time, billions of years in the past. jSarek 00:23, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- IMO, kinda a flimsy explanation...--35 pxI...am Z.Talk to me. 13:03, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- It may not have been "our" past. VT-16 13:09, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- "Our" past? What does that mean? Anyway, I'm kinda glad this was never published... woulda made my brain hurt, probably...--35 pxI...am Z.Talk to me. 14:58, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- You were the one saying "How can it take place in the future..." I said, Star Wars can be our future if it's being narrated by someone else in a different time frame. VT-16 20:14, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Varlian-Hutt link
Edit
Could the Varlians' name be the basis of the Hutts' home planet being Varl? They're both slavers. If so, it should be put in Behind the Scenes. --Mand'alor te Siit 21:29, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Other way 'round: Sawyer mentions using Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races (not sure which edition, first or second) as a source, and it was the book which identified Varl as the Hutt homeworld. Hence, the original Hutts in AE were called Varlians. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:59, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
